Hi all, cool site for metal info and some inspirational art
I’m a sculptor living in Australia,
I mainly work stone but dabble with metals this pic is a current
Public art commission I’m working on. Its 7feet tall and constructed
3mm mild steel plate and 30 kgs of rods

Love Drovers Nightmare,it's wonderfully imposing. Is it all bits of welded plate. And I thought I could get intense welding bits of scrap together. This is monumental bits. I'm absolutely inspired to do a large piece over the summer.
I have had a sketch of a life sized horse I've always wanted to do.I think it's time. Love your work,Janet R.

this is amazing and inspiring!
I did a 7 foot faery with scrap fill on her skirt and small pieces for the rest and I appreciate the time and effort you put in to this sculpture. It's beautiful!
