Sculpture Gallery ![]() one of three pieces. The bases are 11" in diameter. The vertical members are created from short pieces of thick walled pipe. The pipe is cut at a little bit of an angle to the longitudinal axis. The slices of pipe are then stacked on top of one another and welded together giving the vertical member a slight twist. The bases are scraps from a forging operation where the white hot steel is hammered thru forging dies. The smooshed up ends which had taken the hammering are cut off as scrap. I have been lucky enough to receive some of these. The tallest of the pieces is 31" tall, the short one is 16.5" tall. |
