Corkscrew With Cork

Sculpture Gallery ![]() Corkscrew created for Pioneer Wine Company. The cork is a piece of fairly heavy pipe approximately 4.5" OD and 9" in length. The Pioneer Wine Company logo was punched onto the cork with a hammer and centerpunch - lots of swinging of a three lb. hammer. ![]() Hi Jim, Nice sculpture.

Very clever! How big is the whole piece? The cork looks bigger than 9". I can't imagine all the hammering it took for the logo and keeping it so precise. Lin ![]() Hi Lin, the screw part of

Hi Lin, the screw part of the work is 33", the handle is 29". The work was created for an individual with Pioneer Wine Company. The corkscrew can be twisted out of the cork. This is the second one of these, the first resides at the Block 7 Wine Company in Houston, TX. I will make a fairly limited number of copies of this work. Jim |
