A previously created work, titled 'Discovery' has a number of the spike balls. There is always somebody who wants to buy one of the balls - which won't happen.

As far as I'm concerned a single ball is an abombination - without any sort of artistic merit. But I figured I needed to do something so I created a ball then attached the chain which I think took it to a substantially higher plane. The work seems to have some darkness.

Currently the work is out front with the chain tied around the neck of the steel dog ( I'll post a pix sometime )

it turned out pretty well, interestingly as a work which I really didn't want to create - the chain definitely adds some character.

Hope it's good / getting better ..
