New Wall Sculptures

New Wall Sculptures

Finally finished everything needed to be done for the railings, next weekend we will pack them .On the 19th installation! No pictures til then.
In the meantime, A friend came over to my studio and liked a piece on my wall which I had abandoned. So I told her I would fix it up and give it to her "Cheap"!!! This was from a group of work I had started called "Warrior Women With Weapons" or WWWW".
Anyway, I never got around to doing too many of them but I think it's something I might re-invent. JanetR.

Interesting how we can

Interesting how we can abandon something that we didn't quite like only to later revisit it and bring it out into a whole new perspective. Glad to see the completed work. It fits well with the framing you have provided. One question I have. How did you accomplish the filler for the bra and panties? I'm assuming the figure lines were plasma cut. I just can't figure out the shading.

Wonderful,Wild,Wicked Women,
My version anyway, hey great peice Janet.
I especially like the Framing around the peice. It just gives it a certain touch of Class.

Thanks Again...

Warrior Woman (WIth Weapons) is part of a group of work which I never developed. Inspired by my love of martial arts and weapons. Again a patina and brushed steel mix...her "outfit" is textured with weld just daubed on.
She actually came out better then I thought! Must make more...Janet R.

Wow

I always enjoy seeing new pieces from you. Your work is great but your vision is phenomenal. I am an excellent fabricator, but I can only hope to have a fraction of your imagination.
