LARGE EAGLE SCULPTURE, 9'2" WINGSPAN, 1/8" mild steel, LOTS OF BEADS

I'M NEW HERE AND I'M JUST STARTING TO FIGURE IT OUT. THIS IS MY SECOND EFFORT. 9'2" WINGSPAN. WHEN IT WARMS UP A LITTLE MORE HERE IN CENTRAL NY. I PLAN TO GET SOME PAINT ON IT. I JUST FINISHED THE TALONS, AND HAVE YET TO TEXTURE THE FACE. THANKS FOR LOOKING!

awesome....im totally inspired . ive never tried enything that big. i make lizards,bugs and other creatures . im a preassure vessel welder from alberta, canada art makes welding fun again ,and i bet your having a ton of it... yours truly..ben lanoville

Rob, Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I'll get some paint on it soon and put up a couple more pictures. If you click on "original" in the bars at the bottom of the pages with the photos, they open up more than full screen, then you navigate the photo with the bars at the bottom and right side. If you hit F11 on your keyboard they will open up more yet, F11 again to get out of that mode, at least it works on this computer. ...Thanks again...David

Very good........great detail.......I have seen eagles down here in florida
and you have captured the look
Great Job .........very inspiring
Maybe a copper color patina would make it look great with a little gold
on some arts

Thanks Artweldme, I don't get up here much. I'm out in Az now, touring the County. Spent a few months in Eagle Nest, New Mexico last summer and took up chainsaw carving. There are far more people with hundreds to spend than there are with thousands to spend. I have much less invested in my carvings, both time and money.
