Pink Copper Flamingo

Whitesmithing | Repousse & Chasing | Artmetalists Sculpture Gallery | bird | copper | flamingo | patina This was a commissioned project that I did for a client. This was the first bird that I have ever made and I learned a lot of do's and don'ts with this project. The pink color was achieved by using a mixture of different color patinas with dyes and then air brushed on. The flamingo is about 11" tall which made it difficult to work some of the pieces since they were so small. If counting my time on this project I would have went in the hole but I did learn a lot from it and learning is more important than money. ![]() Thanks Marilyn, You can't
