Withering

Withering

Well times are tough right now and I have not made it to the steel supply yet.
So.. I went through my scrap pile and started just to fart around in the Garage and came up with this.
I titled it " Withering ", It is made of Mild Steel with Patina Finish.
It is approx 18" X 6" X 8".
It not only represents my Budget for Steel,(Withering LOL.. but it resembles a withering Vine with an Abstract theme.
Anyway, Nothing fancy just farting around...

Merry Christmas!!

Nice work Chuck!

Very imaginative even if it is scrap. It's great to see what you can do with scraps...I think sometimes some of our best work comes from child's play, and working with what you got, and just going with the flow.

You display that very well in this piece.

Cheers to letting the imagination run wild!!!

Hi Chuck,
"Withering" is a pretty darn good result for farting around as you say. Honor to whom honor deserves, right? I`d say you were inspiring around, and came into this nice abstract vine that sure conveys that wilting or withering effect. I`m sure you`ll be producing better and better sculptures. The more kicks one gets from galleries, the better we get, so it derives that kicks are good! I don`t think I made sense pal. Keep posting and f..... around, LOL. Nelson.

Hi Nelson,

I get to get kicked tommorrow night I have another opening Part 2 at the gallery.
It's funny I showed off the Sculpture to the wife and she said "it looks like Torrtias on a Vine."
I hope to start some thing soon that's a little more planned.

Take care

Merry Christmas again!

Hi Chuck, I like your new sculpture. Making sculptures out of found objects takes a lot of ingenuity and creativity. Nice work.

Really love this one Chuck!!!

I love this piece...didn't think of tortilla chips...maybe you should take your honey out for some Mexican food and Margaritas...she's secretly craving it....hey me too!!!
You are really getting the "hang" of found metal sculptures. Can't wait to see what's next!!!!

Thanks Janet,
Hey at least you can spell Tortilla correctly!
Pretty bad considering I live here in the Southwest.
However, I have no problem with MARGARITA!!!
Thanks for the kind words.
