Upstream.....Thanks to Steely Jan

Upstream.....Thanks to Steely Jan

This is a piece I have started and then tore apart a time or two.
I got really frustrated and was going to cut it up.
O.K. I was pissed off and wanted to bury it!
However, Jan gave me some great advise, "leave it and come back to it later."
Months later.......
I got this Idea in the middle if the night of a design that might save this piece.
Here she is "Upstream"
Yes, I know it's on the Dark side, but I need someone like Crosby to photo this piece to bring out the colors.
The Patina really does look very cool! I think anyway.
I was going to make it into a fountain, but I have decided to leave it this way.
Hope you like it!

Thanks to Steely Jan and her sound advise.

Can you tell us more about

Can you tell us more about this one? What is the metal? Are those bolts? What does the back look like? Come on man, quit teasing us!

Hi Chuck, I think the piece

Hi Chuck, I think the piece looks great. I'm with kevin though, if you have the time some close ups would be great. Nice work.

Thanks for the kind

Thanks for the kind words.
The Material is Mild Steel.
The back is Painted Black. I only used Patina on the Front side.
No, they are not Bolts, instead I used 1/2 Ball Bearings.
Sorry, I did not get a chance to get better pic.'s yet.

Again Thanks!

Chuck

Thanks Chuck!!!

I'm so glad Chuck did not chuck this piece and I'm happy I was the cause. It came out great....sometimes it's better to leave them alone as in this case. You should be happy! SteelyJan
