Sea Turtles

This is my second Commission, a friend wanted Turles for his Daughter this Christmas.
He wanted something his Duaghter could put on a Bookshelf. So I had to consider size.
He also wanted it to have a natural patina Finish, nothing painted.
I showed it to him Friday I think he liked it?

Anyway, it's mild Steel, with a Heat Patina and Clear Coat.
It is approx. 10" x 8" x 8".

I was just happy to get another Commission.

Nice little piece. Excellent flow of the turtles you can almost see them move. It is surprising how simple (not a lot of detail) something can be made but still give the full spectrum of the actions. Good reeds.

www Metalrecipes -- heat and beat to the desired shape, repeat as necessary.

Yeah this was less means more without a doubt.
He wanted very little detail. So I tried to comply.
You know everytime I look at it I always see something else I should have done different.
But the Customer gets what the Customer wants.
I delivered today he was very happy with the Sculpture.

Needless to say I was happy that he was Happy.
