Lifes Simple Fix

Here's the latest.
I bought a Mini English Wheel this weekend and I had to try it out.
The piece is Mild steel 36" x 12" x 12"
This Sculpture represents the struggles we face in life and how sometimes we can manage to overcome them.
The Black area shows the Challenges we face while the Circles represent achievement, success and growth.

Hi Chuck,
Is not unusual for me to ask what inspired a work. You`ve explained well the meaning of your sculpture, so saved me asking. It`s a joyous sculpture, somehow whimsical, and well achieved! Excuse me the question Chuck, do you sell them or collect them? The reason I ask you is that I`m selfish with most of my sculptures... swear God they`re like children to me. You don`t give your children away or sell them, don`t you? LOL. When I sell them, I`m a bit worry if they`re well kept. I must be nuts! nelson.

Glad you liked the Sculpture.
I would love to sell most of the work that I do.
However, I don't have to many people asking to purchase the stuff I make.
I am not exactly well known.
Maybe someday?

Hi Chuck, the sculpture looks great. Well done. How thick was the steel that you used in the english wheel? Was it difficult to use? I hope to get a small one in the next month or so. I've never used one, but the elegant curves I've seen made with them look intriguing.
