No actually Jim, it was a large 6 1/2 Dia. Billet alluminum piece. I Spent Approx. 8 hours turning this out on a C.N.C. Lathe.

Is this a sculptural piece or a "work piece"? I can find no fault with your technique, but as a sculptural piece, it leaves me cold. Tell me more about it, so I will understand what I am seeing here.

Nic,
This a "PART" I turned up on the Lathe. It was scrap (Proto-Type) Made from Aluminium. The actual peice is made from 17-4 S.S.
I just loved the contours of this peice of steel. It was just a functional part for a Diverter Valve. That is all the info. I can give you, But I asked our Foreman for it because I liked it and thought it looked pretty cool.
