I found the body segments for thisi piece in a scrap bin. The eyes were made with some found copper(found at the bottom of a river) and I made a dimpling tool to texture the eyes.

Well that is just cool! Is it fixed or can you change how it is shaped? What did you use for a "spine"? How about the finish?

As cool as it would be to make it poseable, it is fixed. I used two lengths of 1/4" cold rolled round bar for the spine. I shaped them to fit the piece of driftwood that it is crawling up and then started laying up the body segments. The finish is a simple acrylic clearcoat, not too durable, but affordable.
