Not for this sculptural peice. My friend Keith Murray did the carving and polishing. I have worked it on other occasions, it is a very brittle stone especially when drilling, you need to use a diamond tipped core bit. It polishes up beautifully though and the fossils in them are about 350 million years old. The quarry we get it from just crushes it up for road chippings! Sacrilage! ![]() many thanks
