wolf howling at the moon

wolf howling at the moon

I just created this piece last week. I pounded this wolf out of a piece of 16 oz. copper. I heated surroundings of the wolf with a torch for the radiant colors. I also clear coat this to keep colors shiny.

this piece took about 3 hours total. i made it for my aunt for christmas. piece measures about 12 x 16 inches. I can basically emboss any image, even if picture would be 4 inches by 4 inches

Clear Coating

Very nice work! I'm curious what you use for clear coating. I'm thinking I should be doing this with my own stuff, but don't know whats best.
