![]() I just created this piece last week. I pounded this wolf out of a piece of 16 oz. copper. I heated surroundings of the wolf with a torch for the radiant colors. I also clear coat this to keep colors shiny. wolf howling at moon

this piece took about 3 hours total. i made it for my aunt for christmas. piece measures about 12 x 16 inches. I can basically emboss any image, even if picture would be 4 inches by 4 inches » reply Clear Coating

Very nice work! I'm curious what you use for clear coating. I'm thinking I should be doing this with my own stuff, but don't know whats best. Dustin "Woody" Woodford "They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance!" » reply wolf at moon

animals are about the easiest to pound out. They are all a basic outline. once you start your hammering everything falls together. start with a fish first! » reply |
