This is an earier piece with mixed metals and limited modeling that later led to the dusty bottle of Zin. The difference is that there is no mild steel behind the stainless and copper here. To really model in the mixed metals technique, I believe that you need to forge the shape in mild steel first then overlay the copper (annealed) and stainless (tacked and heated in the forge, then laid down).A Dusty Bottle of Zin: Mild Steel, stainless steel, copper
