Copper Vessel by Maestro Ignacio Punzo Angel of Santa Clara del Cobre

This is the vessel I picked up as a gift (bribe) for my lovely wife who lets me go to blacksmith's gatherings. Pretty excellent work, by any standards. Height is about ten inches.

WOOOoooooohoooo it didn't work the first time. At least it didn't "insert" it in the reply. But I noticed that an Image was in a separate post. BUT it did let me come back and edit . I was able to "insert" it in the edit. WISH there was a rhyme or reason to these glitches. Good thing I'm persistent.

Rich, An exhibition of his

Rich,

An exhibition of his work toured the Southwest several years ago and I had the priviledge of doing a raising demo during the opening of the exhibit here in Tucson. There were some monumental and highly detailed pieces in the exhibit. I also pulled together a slide presentation of images take at their workshop in Santa Clara taken by Michael Croft years earlier.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful vessel.

Bill, I was at that conference as well it coincided with the SNAG conference. That was 21 years ago.
