Calvary

So this I made using pieces of left over metal that was piled up in a corner. There's an Image of 3 Crosses on a hill in the negitive image of the work.. hence the name.

It was my first try at something like this, I think it would have been alot better had i made it on a larger scale... So thats the plan with the next one. Its become quite a conversation getter around the house though! :)

Great Concept!

Saw this one on Photobucket and I really like the idea!!!
Excellent play on negative space. I did see your work on Photobucket but couldn't get past the front page of your web site....is it still being worked on ( like mine)???
Anyway...posting them here is better....so everyone can enjoy them SteelyJan

Hey Thanks!

Ok I'll post everything then! My personal site is in limbo. My web designer and I got a large portion done on it then had a falling out. So I'll have to find a new designer. But the concept of how I want it isn't too far off from whats on my front page.

Sympathy!!!!

Sorry about your web designer...the front page is excellent hope you will resolve it with someone else.
My web site is also being rebuilt and It's frustrating because I know what I want and every day I open it up and there's something strange....like posting a picture of one of my coffee tables about six or seven times and in different catagories!!!!! Driving me insane.. still looks better then what I had. SteelyJan

Well Thank You

Wow that does sound frustrating! It has great colors and layout! I really like how it goes from zoomed to farther out. I've looked at thousands of web sites in figuring out what I'd like mine to do. Your thumbnails are all really good pics that make a person want to get closer look at the details. I definately think yours is coming together very nicely, I'm sure the bugs will work out.

I dont wanna get into to much detail, but with my site I'm trying to make it so each piece of art looks how it will in a room. Like the eagle in the back ground is pasted into the room. Its alot of work to set it all up.

Love your work!
