marilyn There is a definite progression. The first one is smaller because of the width of the sheet. I used it because I had it. I bought the metal for the next two and made them one after the other. The one is "daintier." I'm not usually one for embellishment so this was a departure. I've not done anything more with the idea though. If I ever do, I'd like to go bigger.

The bases are a commercial mix for paper machié. It's an Amaco product and has paper pulp.

I mostly roll out a slab and make mask sculptures from my life mask mold so the big bag that I bought has lasted for a long time.

No, I don't wear a mask but I do work outside with it and once it's wet, there's nothing to fly around.
