helo,im just new here and this is my first uploaded image...but i always visit this site since before when im not still registered...all of your works here were amazing!!!im a self-employed mechanical engineer and i love metal arts...i have so many scrap metals and im trying to make metal art from it just some of you guys did, and here it is...i hope its little bit ok....

halo madam.first of all im a

halo....first of all im a fan of yours.i vesited your site and im amazed of your works,how i wish i could do simple metal into wonderful arts like you do.but i think its impossible for me in a place like where i am nw which is way technology behind..but at least im trying with equipments i only have...anyway,this piece is a part of an iron candle holder which be painted plain black as my Auntie's request...after making done with the dragon fly, i thought it was cute and i came up in an instant idea how to make it livelier i color it with a violet permanent marker on the groove details and wipe out the excess ink and then spray it with automotive clear topcoat.... tnx for the comment...

I think you're doing great. That's all any of us can do is keep trying with what we have. The more you do, the more you learn, the more you can create. Just make sure you're having fun. ;-) I have used a similar technique using metallic markers and also cover with a clear coat of lacquer.

tnx Paula,im really having fun of doing things i love to do and youre right we'll learn more by doing more...just like constant practice makes us perfect.for now im making a stainless railings,its a simple design but slow process coz im only using stick welding and hand grinder to notch the stainless tube...after this i'll make bigger metal art..hhmmm what should it be???

i'll try to post more if i can make one,hahahaha
