Trefoil Vase

Finally finished up the vase today. It was chased over a steel mandrel from the outside using chasing tools and hammers. Its 2-inch diameter type L copper pipe and is 5 inches tall. Dylan and I couldn’t agree on the patina scheme,... so he won.

That's an attractive piece, Eric.  Did you use any sort of clearcoat on it?
It sounds like you and Dylan have that difference resolution process worked out pretty well. ;)

After adding the patina I just use wax on the whole vase. It keeps the oxygen out, so it should stay pretty much the way it is.

Very impressive peice! I have no idea how you got this inlay done but the Vase is beautiful! I love polished Copper!

Thank You very much! My son and I had a good time making this one and the polished copper contrast suprised us both. I may be adding a new line to my vases. :^)
