Dimension Lines

Dimension Lines is an Idea I have had for awhile now.
I have spent the better portion of my life reading Blueprints. The Dimension lines on some prints just seem to run together.
And I wonder why I'm going Blind.
Anyway This is my First Mobile. It was harder thatn I thought. Although, a great learning experience.
1/8 Rod, CRS and 18g Sheet Metal.
The piece is approx. 6'x 6'.

Kevin,
It tool me 8 hours to cut weld and paint.
Lesson #6 identify the pieces before you take it apart!
It took me forever to figure out what in the hell I did, so I could put it back together.
By the way it can be put together in about 6 different configurations and still maintain it's balancing act!
I'm here to tell you this took me all weekend to get it right.
Oh! don't drop it bad things happen!

Hi Chuck; neat! that sculpture seems to be moving, so you got a good kinetic effect, and it`s fun and light to the eye. I myself am working on getting that light and floating effect. My work has had the tendency to be and appear overwhelmingly heavy. D.Lines appears as though some U.F.O.`s, be them kites, birds, planes, or rockets are shooting out in a branching pattern... very nice to me.Nelson.
