Thank you for your very kind response to my posting, the sculpture is a very abstract work based on the ocean viewed from an uban perspective,the sea ive tried to capture by using texture on the surface of the metal and the harder lines of the raised sections representing the city landscape, the circle and rectangles are raised about 2" from the surface to give the work a three dimensional element, what ive hoped to achieve with this sculpture is to break down representational images to a basic form.
