the sculpture has been hot dipped galvanised and a chemical called mordrant soloution is applied with a garden sprayer or can be painted on depending on the effect required,

Hi Nick, I really like this sculpture. It almost looks like stone. I am also interested in the mordant solution. I've looked online and can only find info from Europe and Asia. There has to be a similar product in the U.S., but I can't seem to find it(or more likely i'm not putting in the right search parameters). Do you make it your self or buy it? Can you give us the recipe or supplier? I would really like to use this finish on some outdoor work, so any information would be great.
