Nic,
This is a beautiful peice. I like the colors in your work. The Bird has a lot of detail. Is this for a Client or for your persoanal enjoyment?
Awesome Job!

Hair trigger

Geeez, Chucky, I hardly finished putting him up and here you are with a comment. Wow, you are fast on the trigger. Thanks for looking in. It was done for my own enjoyment and to make a statement at the bottom level of our Atrium Hall just before entering my wife's and my studios. He is my symbol for my retirement, arising from the fire and ashes.

Hi Nic, that firebird looks

Hi Nic, that firebird looks very nice. I guess it`s difficult, almost impossible to come to a creativity stall after having been involved with artistic metal fabrication for so long. Great! Personally, although a may change jobs, I believe a true artist never stops discovering and expressing the art fire burning deep inside.Keep it up. Nelson.

Creativity Stall

Thanks for stopping by, Nelson.

I have been to the place where novelty is born, went to the Creativity Stall and bought all I could carry. :o})~

I think that in each artistic discipline, especially in those involving manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination, tool use is foundational in the process of acquiring each new technique. So far, I have explored over 73 processes and attempted to take them to the highest professional level I could. Not all involve the use of the forge, hammer and anvil either.

Hot n Cold

Hi Nic,
I meant to comment on your bird earlier. I like the colors a lot, especially the cool blue with all the hot colors.
