This is a gate that I made for a friend almost 30 years ago. It was installed with other sculptural work on his house until 1996 when he decided to move to South Africa and he asked me to take it down and store it for him.

After a year or so, he called me and offered to sell all ofthe ironwork back to me for only $1000! Needless to say, I fired off a cashier's check immediately. Then I converted the gate into a security storm door with glass and screen.

It now is one of the front doors of our bed and breakfast here in Pennsylvania.
