![]() Here is a railing I designed for a customer. I came up with thirteen pieces for the main design. I was wondering if anyone can come up with any less? ![]() railing design

If approached as a forging project, this could be3 made form five (5) pieces and still retain the sharp corners, acute angles, etc. It would take some serious forging, bu tit certainly could be done and would look great. If this is a repeated element I'd probably opt for a few more pieces and somewhat less forging in order to stay competitive, probably. |

Love the design Nam, you might be able to reduce the number of pieces by using bends instead of joints, but you'll have rounded corners in a few spots, which i personally don't think would look as good in this design.
Can't wait to see it further along, make sure to post picts.
