Don't know anyone in Portland...so many people have asked me about welding....maybe that's a fun idea. It's just my studio is two hours away from NYC....not convienent for most! SteelyJan

this just isn't in the cards for this area....most women don't think they can do stuff like this. a big misconception that you need to be mechanically minded...maybe some day.... good luck to you, i admire that you do teach this....

Hey you guys I've taught welding for fun classes for a few years now and you would be surprised who wants to do it! I only teach MIG welding........ONLY.........and then I also use a plasma cutter. The projects in the book are all only mig though, no plasma, so that would work too. I think I will be teaching people how to teach welding for fun workshops in the near future.........
