hi rob, thanks for the nice comment. i am just getting into fold forming but am really enjoying it.i first anneal my piece then figure out where i want the folds. i fold it then hammer at the fold on both sides, anneal again and open the piece.the dome shape i did using a dapping block.one of the things i love about doing it is that your never really sure what is going to happen with it, it always changes as you go. anyway, have fun. ![]() Very nice! This is interesting. I'm starting to experiment with fold forming myself and would like to hear how you went about this. Also, I love the diagonal lines across the piece and the domed shaped on it. Is there anyway of seeing a bigger picture of this? Was that domed shape a fold side effect, or repoussed in? Makes me think of a cabochon bezel set.
