thanks, Jeff. Was it a water or solvent based? The "temper colors" are one of the coolest of "patinas". ![]() coating question

I have experienced the same problems Bill. Over time i began to formulate my own acrylic clear coating using water based products such as Sherwin Williams Hydro Gloss as a primary ingredient. I include trace amounts of other agents depending on the size of the project and metal. A sray gun is used to apply. ![]() I figured water based was

Love your play on color. I
Love your play on color. I really enjoy copper. Thought about doing projects with it like making jewelry. So I have a question for you? Do you find that it is harder to sell this wonderful metal to jewelry enthusiasts because of it turning colors against one's skin? Or perhaps it doesn't matter because it's so easy to clean? I know that copper can be beneficial to those who suffer from arthritis. The metal would then have to be uncoated. Does soldering the copper help prevent tarnishing? Seahlieh
