Thanks guys & gals, Unfortunately, I didn't take any close ups... I really didn't think much of it when I was making it. It was just a weekend project. Started with 1/4" x 1" bar, welded a cross, welded thick globs of weld beads on top, then brazed copper and bronze in the valleys. I found the rock on the side of the road at the California/Arizona border. By the way, it weighs 35 pounds! I'm just very happy that the money went to a good cause! Paula, I haven't done anything all summer. Too hot in my Houston shed; and I've been very busy with my real estate. I can't wait until it cools down, and my business gets back on cruise control. Thanks for asking... » reply |
