Opposite side of previous post. Forgot to memtion that the water pieces were forged ,not cut, from 2 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch barstock, each one in two pieces, four at a time .coal forge, Kuhn hammer. Reeds forged out of 1 inch barstock. The decorator in Dallas Texas was so awful to work with that the restaurant developers asked her company not to send her to the opening party.
Peaceful
Hi Ivan,
Peaceful. This piece flows gracefully through the glass.I especially like how you didn't restrict the reed bases to a straight line. The concentric arcs suggest to me left and right borders, as if the reed stems were water waves reflecting, but up and down things are free to rise like cathedral windows. This is nice.
