An anticlastic shape is like a saddle (curved in two directions). Your flared cone could be made up of (at least)8 anticlastic shapes formed on a TWO PIECE DIE but it's tricky to say the least. And with 1 1/2 material don't you want to hot form this?
Isn't there a tank Cap company somewhere in your state that could help with the forming.
Sounds like something to be outsourced to a big outfit that specializes in huge tanks,since the making of the die would be very pricey to do youself...
What is going in this tank?
I mean, why does it have to be so thick?
