These are great. I don't

These are great. I don't know how you guys do things like this forged. I was born in Wyoming and so I am partial to mountain goats, they are cool. What are you going to do with theses?

Good Day Mele and thank you

Good Day Mele and thank you for the complement :-)

Well, I really haven't done anything with them yet, but I have lots of ideas. Darryl Nelson, the blacksmith that taught the class, he uses the ram's and horse's heads on fireplace tools. While the class was going on, he made a door knocker with a bear's head and fish. What I need to do, is get a little more polished at making them. Right now, it still takes a bit of time, maybe too much to sell them and make money. I'm also look at how I can use the skills to make more realist dragons and creatures of the grotesque. Right now, my dragons look nice enough for business card holders but that's it.

Hi Gerald,
Your animals are wonderful.I don't know how much time you put in these creations, but they look like they take a lot of skill and technique along with time.I think your dragons will soon be vicious monsters that breath wonderment on their victims.
It seems that when a dog has his shackles up and is snarling. or when a bird stands with his wings out in an attack position, you can sense the mode. With a mythological creature, you can incorporate any of these characteristics and throw in a human gesture ,like a furrowed brow or a stare that implies " I can read your mind as I devour you."
Thanks for sharing your work, Gerald. I can't wait to see one of those iron bad boys.
