Very cool Jan,
Good clean work!
The composition holds together better with those weld seams filled and ground out. Nice job.
I sure hope they don't want it painted...

No Painting!!!

Thanks Stephen..

I'm a big believer in cleaning welds....sometimes too much...I will wire brush it so the finish will be more subtle. The the cubes will have open cubes of wood blocks fitted into them...and a wood top , should be nice, almost there!
