Picture of my mirror...

Hi Everybody!!!!

Here's a better picture of the mirror I did for my last show. Trying to complete my brochure... too much fussing. I wish I had better images of my work but it will have to do for now! I did get a new camera. Learning how to use it. janet

Sideways Mirror

Even sideways it's a very nice mirror frame. It looks like there was a lot of time spent sorting, organizing patterns and welding it all together.

dear fairmeadow, slammin

I use a lot of solid steel in my art but the best tool ever to work with when 'fixing' or straightening lumps or bends is a monkie wrench (pipe fitters wrench, a big one for 3" pipe) and a long 1 1/4" (1/8 gauge) steel tube for tourqe, most of the time a sledghammers do more harm then good, but boy does it feel great to slam on metal sometimes.

never under estimated the power of a woman and a welder!

Jan'

I must intrude by saying this frame is beautiful, square tubing is on of my most favorite styles of steel to work with and I feel this piece say to me "beauty is far from vanity" I would stand in front of this mirror for hours tracing the lines and patterns of the tube and rod. Please tell me that it is tubbing and not flat stock YOU forged or bent? either way it looks wonderful.

ps: looks better side ways but still looks aren't always everything!
