I like the canopy effect, too. I don't like the "legs" as much, and would rather see a more substantial base, but that's just my preference. But that canopy really does come off very well. Nice work, and thanks for sharing it with us! » reply Thank you Paula, thank you

Thank you Paula and Aaron, next time when I improve this wrought iron treee, I will take Rich's advice. And someone wanted to see the canopy round shape, what do you guys think? Allen » reply Instincts

I think a round canopy would be nice, but, i think you should listen to your instincts when creating your art work. No one can get inside of your head and see the vision of your work... until you have made it and it is standing right in front of you. Go with your instinct is the best.... what do you see for your next project? Paula » reply Great work

I like your tree a lot and agree with Paula about staying true to your self with your art. Only you can determine what shape is appropriate. Personally I would choose a more irregular/organic shape. The exact shape being determined as I'm building it. Was this a personal project or a commission? Jake » reply wrought iron gazebo

For the time being, I am busy with developing some huge wrought iron gazebos, about 6M*6M, some are bigger with H 7120mm*W 6923mm. They are the most difficult and most complicated works I ever met. lots of detalils, and are very strict with the dimensions, especially on the roofs...

These gazebos are huge Allen! Are they a custom job you have? I do like them, but as a blacksmith, I wish that you would have tapered or forged some type of transitions on the ends of your scrolls. The thing that I have not ever really liked is when scrolls are cold bent and leave the nub on the end the same as the stock. I'm sure you are probably limited on the budget, but it would seem to me that it would be better to not scrimp on the detail. You are building a name for yourself and the things you produce will reflect on your expertise. Your gazebos are most definitely huge! » reply Thank you Web

Thank you Web Administrator, Yes they are custom jobs, and our ability is limited by client's budget and time, which is always a dilemma for businessman who is also crazy about art. "The difference is in the detalis", I couldn't agree more. May I have your name? Allen » reply Allen, I am QuiQue or

Hi friend visitor, Traditional chinese ironworks? I don't know.. It was European style that gave me inspiration for those stands, I think. I like Chinese characters --hand writings. I will put it into iron someday. Allen » reply wrought iron stands
