Fun

Hi Sandra,
Thank you. I spent this morning making and attaching some leaves. This is fun! I have a large mower deck lined up for a future bouquet.

I have an old Ducane BBQ

I have an old Ducane BBQ that I want to tear apart for the stainless steel for my *new* workbench and I am wondering what to do with the relatively new ceramic briquettes. We replaced the Ducane with a Green Egg and don't really need the briquettes any more. The old bbq also has a nice cast iron top that I am looking at waiting for inspiration..... repurposing is so much fun.

As do all your iris, this one looks great! It has given me ideas, my husband better look out for his old implements! Lin

Torches and Sawzalls and Bears, oh my !

Hi Lin,
Thank you. My name is Frank and I have a problem "I collect toooooo much junque !" When Sue saw what happened to that ugly old remnant, there was instant approval. Just utilizing objects found for sculpture simply doesn't work for me.Basically raw material is what ends up gleaned. Thank God for Sawzalls and torches,eh?
Howz things going yonder? The mosquitoes and black flies aren't out yet, so the forest is heavenly.

Completed Irtis Sculpture from Snowblower.

Here's the Iris Plant complete. It is quite heavy and stands four feet tall.
