Hi Frank and everybody: It`s

Hi Frank and everybody:

It`s been awhile since last time sharing here in Artmetal...
regarding your body work, I`m no expert but use body work tecniques on some sculptures.Basicaly, you want to grind and brush as much as you can the correded area, cutting pieces that are just done. Tack a piece of sheet metal that best fits in size and shape and then use a body filler polyester resin that you mix with a hardener. try out the amount so it doesn`t dry too fast... fill, grind,...fill,grind....and protect yourself from those nasty fumes and dust ! Afterwards apply an untirust. If exterior, visible area, you`ll have to water sand, apply another finer filler for refinishing on an on. Hate that ....

Howdee Nelson

Hi Nelson,
Good to see you are still touching base. Howz be you? Do they use salt where you live? Its kind of ironic that Detroit sits basically over a salt mine.
I've been cutting up ten full cord of Hard Maple for next winter. A few logs look like maybe #2 saw logs and it hurts to cut them up.Oh well,eh?
All the repairs that I've done on this Buick are underneath,so the finish is moot. I thought about pressing fiberglass into the glue and also the asphalt coating too, but got lazy.Applying fiberglass to reinforce roof repairs using asphalt works really well, so why not a fender coating too?
