Hi Frank,
Hope you`re doing fine. I`m not going to criticize your Sunflowers saying they could have this or that additional feature incorporated. Contrary wise, I think they are nice and simple, adequate adornments for a garden. Let`s face it, artwork is not priority during critic times, so if one is to sell and survive, we should consider less expensive yet attractive products for prospective buyers. I feel the artist may feel a bit restricted not being able to doing what he`d like without paying so much attention to costs. Well, to accomplish success creativity takes place again in another fashion... By the way Frank, as your Sunflowers are similar in style, what about placing some of your spiders near by. That would make a neat garden setting, nice pics, and probably a strategy to sell more. Best regards. Nelson.
Hi Nelson,
I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. I hope ya'll are doing ok too.
You hit the nail on the head. I need to make some less expensive, yet desirable pieces. The spiders were fun, the sunflower was a challenge. I find myself checking out how long it takes to make these kinds of art(?). Today I made an Orchid out of rebar, since I'm in the flower mode. I really had fun making this wall hanger.I'll probably need to color it though. But colored or not, this one came from my soul. This is good.
