So just what's that on the ground. Here in Virginia, we're still waiting. The local ski resort has to blow. Your work shop look great, nice atmosphere.

Your bird look great. My dogs would be freaking out if they had to sit in the snow without jackets!

Hi Mele,
Sandy knows how to keep warm. She makes a leeward nest in the snow, but she was shivering pretty good the other day.
I could see the shadow of "Inviseagle" while I was driving down the road, and the wings were flapping as the car bounced. It was so kewl.

Hi Frank,
That`s got to be an eagle of yours. This far I can clearly see your name on it! Very nice as usual. What about that setting in the woods, I suspect that`s your house. Lovely Xmas setting, and must be regardless of the season. All looks so homy and peaceful. I wish I had some of that snow around... I know, you may say ...sunshine around. Do you go around with the eagle on the car top? Reminded me of I guy who used to carry some big copper work on the car top. He became known with that effective advertising you know. Best wishes. Nelson.

Da U. P.

Hi Nelson,
Yes,that's the Eagle I call "Inviseagle" and posted pictures of it a while ago. I don't have a truck so I had to come up with a way to get the birds ten miles to town (Munising). I giggled the whole time riding there.I like the idea of having the bird on top of Zeldabob(my car) as a means of advertisement during an event.
I took the picture from my kitchen window. My studio is around 250 feet from the house. I truly love where I live.

Nutcase With a Bird On His Roof....

Hi Paula,
I love the snow, but when the sun is out my soul gets supercharged. That's the kind of day it was(today too). The snow clouds were staying offshore, so looking south, was bright blue sunny skies; while looking north was a black ominous sky. It was exciting. The weather man threatened a snow band that could dump two inches an hour.Gotta dust off the snowshoes.

It's snowing now Frank....we'll see how much we actually get. You're fortunate to be so close to the lake that you get that much. Our dream is to move up to Grand Marais Mn... a bit colder, less growing season...but close to lake superior!.....like i said....i'm jealous.... ;p

What a great visual....

Hi Frank...
i would love to watch you driving down the road with your eagle above your car....Maybe if you just drive it around someone would stop you + buy it!!!
Anyway, your place looks so beautiful . I'm not sure if I could handle living with that much snow for so long of a winter...I think I'm a wuss!! SteelyJan

HOLY WAH !

Hi SleelyJan,
You couldn't have wiped the grin off my face while I was driving to town with that bird flapping his wings over my car. I have someone quite interested in "Inviseagle" after they saw it last night at the festivities in town.
It isn't the snow that gets you here, its the lack of sun light. Being outside makes it all better though. There's close to three feet of the white stuff on the ground already, HOLY WAH!

Hi Frank, what a great

Hi Frank, what a great photo. I like it for two reasons, first, you have a beautiful home, especially in it's snow covered state. Second, I love the "I'm going to get it done no matter what" attitude you have with regards to "shipping" your work, lol. I have come up with many unconventional setups to move work or materials, and laugh every time. I'll bet it was quite a site driving down the road.

Home Sweet Home

Hi Jake,
Here's a picture of my home.I built it myself. The beauty is the forest around me and it is an inspiration for art and life. The picture isn't that clear because, well its snowing.Life is good.
