Birds n Things

Hi Keith,
Thanks. I made several birds, and a sculpture called Dr. Macabee that can fit right in the pipe on top.I figured that I could display several pieces at shows that have interchangeable stands.

Birds n Things

Hi Keith,
Thanks. I made several sculptures that have a rod protruding from the bottom. I can insert the rod into a pipe that ultimately supports the sculpture. The Trickster, Dr. Macabee, and the Eagle made from flatware are sculptures that will fit onto this stand. Whether they look correct is another question.

Hi Frank,

Great stands! If I understand your description correctly, The Trickster & Eagle will kind of look like they're flying when attached.

Pictures lie

Hi Peggy,
Thanks. However there is only one stand. The picture shows two views. The idea of the birds flying will hopefully be conveyed.

Hi Rob,
Thanks. I would like to make a variety of stands to mix and match according to the interested party's whim.

Geometry 101

Frank,
Very Nice indeed!
I almost got out the old Geometry Book after looking at these peices you've created.
Your Birds are spectacular and will now have an eligant perch.
I love the use of functional Geometry in Art, the shapes of different angles are always apealing to the eye.
Well Done!

One Stand

Hi Chuck,
Thank you for your compliment. There's two views of the same stand.Interestingly, the appearance changes from different views. It looks downright crooked, but the pattern repeats itself every third octahedron.I only used two octaherdons as the thing was getting too tall.
