Hehe....love the face and

Hehe....love the face and fingers. How big is he? I think this would really work well 5' tall and rusted in a garden.

Shorty

Hi Peter,
Thanks.Tin Man is 20 inches tall.At five feet, it sure would be easy to add lots of interesting detail.

Tin Man

Hi Frank,

I really like your Tin Man - he looks so happy! Also, that's a great story behind the piece.

Story

Hi Peggy,
Thanks. The story behind this sculpture was quite motivating.
I sure wish I had your skills and talent when making the heart. Its just a plain old copper thing glued on. I can only imagine what you would have created.

Tin Can Woman

Can anyone tell me how to make this same figure but it be a woman instead? I need to know how to make the dress part.

Dress Part ?

visitor,
I created this sculpture and hand made every piece. There are no "tin can" components.

Second Year

Hi Jamie,
Thank you.Tin Man was donated to the Alger County Historical Society and presented, last year at the annual dinner, to a charter member who successfully received a heart transplant. That person brought it to the annual dinner this year. I am very honored.
