The finished sculpture is actually meant to be hung like a mount, kind of like the giant Eagle on the Chrysler building.

Hi Steely Jan,
Sorry about the slow response, I've been doing some house spruce up jobs before a guest arrives.This sculpture was inspired by the image of an eagle eating a salmon in a tree. He definitely was intense.
