Thanks Rich

Hi Rich,
I just didn't know what the heck it was. I ran a virus check and didn't come up with anything.Just suspicious about pop ups I guess. Thanks, Rich, for taking the time and checking it.

Not sure why you got that

Not sure why you got that message Frank. ArtMetal does have a link for donations using paypal on the front page. However, that page has not been modified for over a year. So why would things change? I did notice that the message said something about the web site name. Maybe you used artmetal.com instead of www.artmetal.com?

Are you still getting these messages?

One Time Only

Hi QuiQue,
I only got that pop up one time. I left the web and ran a virus check just in case. I guess I thought it was a re-direct to an evil web site so I didn't click on it. Thanks.
Frank

Phishing

That could have been an example of phishing. A site is highjacked and an attempt is made to redirect you to a bogus site where they try to get you to divulge sensitive information so as to relieve you of your hard earned money. It is alway wise to not open these sites or to give any information online. These bogus sites can be very convincing. Paypal is a prime target since you may devulge information about your bank account and they can withdraw the money directly. Paypal will never send you this kind of email or request you to give them further information.
