Another nice bird Frank! What`s the wing span and did you really used kitchen utensils on it.I`m not kidding this time Frank,I just can`t tell if you did.We don`t have raves over here, but I`m working on a birds proyect too.They`ll be macaws,but birds after all huh.As a birds lover you`ll enjoy it. No Spoons This Time

Hi Nelson,
Thanks.I used .032" thick mild steel and shaped the pieces, no spoons.The armature is made using 1/4" mild steel rod. The wing span is 43", but with the cantilever, the width of the sculpture is 37". Where's "over here"? I can't wait to see your Macaw project.

Thanks.I put the last coat of gun bluing on tonight followed by some 10W30. I just love Ravens so much that I was compelled to try to portray one enjoying a windy winter day.
