Bird Tail

I attached the tail on Bird today and finished applying spoons to the back side. Some the welds will be covered with spoons, the rest are "brush strokes" ![]() Welding Rod

Yeah sometimes you just have to stand back and take a look and see what happens, and you look down on the bench and it is all laid out for you. Have fun making the claws. I made an eagle a few years back and I loved every minute of it, all 450 plus feathers. ![]() !

Frank, thanks for putting up some more pictures.
Your bird is fricken cool!!!
Maybe you can forge some feet for it. A eagle that size would have big feet and long sharp talons.
