"Giving Thanks" in progress

In keeping with they day, I thought I would post my latest piece in progress. I have to give a shout out to Frank Castiglione, whose recent comment on my work inspired this piece. This is my first piece that I actually worked on in my own workshop. I still have to clean it up with acid, pick a patina and make a framing decision, but here it is up to this point.

I Hear Ya

Hi Eric,
You took on quite a challenge making hands. I like the ruggedness of the hands while portraying reverence. It actually reminds me of a Brother Rago, a man I knew that was the most rugged appearing person you could imagine. At the same time he was truly a gentle servant of God.His voice was at least an octave below normal but only kind words left his lips. Thanks, Eric, you brought back some good memories.

I,m glad it brought back

I,m glad it brought back some good memories Frank. I didn't realize how difficult the hands would be until I was too far into the project. They were a challenge.
Thanks,
Eric
