Nice work Janet...really

Nice work Janet...really love the one on the right with the red glass.

What about an "add to cart" option instead? Then the customer has the option to buy more than one piece at a time.

Just a thought...Good luck with the auction, and post status updates on Facebook with images, and I can re-post them on my profile. Maybe some of the people I know would be interested in your work. :-)

Thanks Jamie

I have posted the auction on Facebook, I'll send you the link...I am having a physical one here at the Firehouse but there will be an option to buy from the web site...I never put the cart into my site ( it cost extra or something) I can just invoice the client....maybe I should add the cart????
Anyway, I'll send you the link from FB...thanks, if I sell to any of your clients you get something too...SteelyJan

If you have a business

If you have a business account it's the same fee as the buy it now button. You just pay the fees if some one purchases, which is minimal with the Standard package, but if sign up with the Pro pakage then it's $30.00 a month plus your fees for each transaction.

I wish the best of luck!

Both pieces are very nice.

Both pieces are very nice. You might mention their height though. I'd guess the smaller is 12 inches high, but I'm not sure.

For online sales you might have a look at Google Checkout. You can make a sale via email, then use Google Checkout to email the customer an invoice which they can pay online with a credit card. There's a small percentage charge. I set it up a while ago on my site, but have never used it.

These look great, the one on

These look great, the one on the right is a little different for you. The red glass is a nice touch. I think you should put the candle on the left one to post. I know it would look great, but some people have no imagination.

Good Luck!!!, Mele

Names

Steelyjan, do you have names for the pieces?
I am going to try to make a comment and I am not art critic. The one with the red I like, has a little flow and some nice lines in the "legs".
The other one is a little too geometric for my taste, I am more realism. Anyhow looking at the welds at the ball joints seems to take something away. Of course the welds could have a purpose like that, I guess because our welds are like paint strokes of a painter, or the knife marks in clay, or the chisel marks in stone.

www Metalrecipes -- heat and beat to the desired shape, repeat as necessary.

Thanks everyone!!!!

No names yet...yes I will put a glass votive in the geometri one...as for the welds....I cleaned them up and wire brushed them...but remember these are immediate gratification pieces that I intend for a quick sale....the votive holder will be about $75- 90. and the other one ( which I have taken a liking to) will be about $300.-
Both are signed on the bottom...I etch out some of the plate then weld my initials and grind down...
I think they will sell....shrug!!!
Finally got most of the paper work completed and wired my shipping money to Italy...you don't want to know!!!
I'm getting excited!!! Had a professional road case built for the Oracle...it's ready for the road! SteelyJan
