Well, the show went well although not too many people showed up!!!1 I brought this piece in order to fill up a large area and everyone really loved it.My artist talk went well...
I adlib real good! It will be in the space for a month so ...you never know. It was an enjoyable evening with a good dinner and nice wine to follow. I did finish another small piece on Saturday morning...next post. Thanks for all your well wishes and support. Steelyjan

Hi Janet, I really like this piece as well. I always thought mirrors would be a good combination with ironwork, but haven't really explored it much. you've definitely proved it's a good combination.

Hi Janet; I agree with Rick in regards to the elegance of your mirror design. Looks as though the iron work is holding the mirror in a very gentle way like caressing it. Nice effect. I like it ! Nelson.

Did this one and others years ago when I used to show with the American Craftsman Gallery in NYC. I sold quite a few and had different varieties . The branch on the right is notched to hold keys...basically a hallway piece.Use the idea ,it works!
